The Lady Artist from the Isle of Struay

On The Isle of Struay, Katie Morag knows a lot of the people as she sees them on her way from her home at the post office and shop to Granny Island's farm. One of those people that she knows really well is the Lady Artist. We managed to get the Lady Artist to "zoom" into our class on Wednesday and tell us all about being an artist and her art work.

She then showed us how she does her paintings and did a workshop with us too, so we could create some seascape paintings as well. We only used a paintbrush to spread a little bit of paint around on some bubble wrap and for the clouds, the rest was done by pieces of card, a short stick and bubble wrap!!
