Welcome to Year 2
The Year 2 team are delighted to welcome you and your child to Rabbit and Squirrel class, as they move towards the end of their learning journey with us at Oldfield Park Infants School. We are here to support your children in any way possible, as we work together with you as parents, enabling your child to flourish and reach their full potential. Year 2 Term 2
What Makes a Hero Or a Villain?
This term the children will be comparing characters within Traditional Tales. In English our key text will be The Three Little Wolves & The Big Bad Pig by Eugene Trivizas.
In Maths the children will be looking at Addition and Subtraction - two digit and single digit numbers and Multiplication.
In Science the children will be looking at and comparing a range of materials such as paper, wood, platic and metal. The children will test a range of materials to see if they can change and if these changes are reversible or irreversible.
