Another ten ideas for you to try at home!
BackBelow is a list of some of the activities you might want to attempt with your families while you are social distancing. Some are aimed at adults, others are aimed at children but many are non-age specific!
31. Play hide and seek – explore all the little hidey holes you can find in the house or garden
32. Participate in an indoor scavenger hunt.
33. Listen to audio books.
34. Go through your sock drawer and pair up all the odd ones. Make sock puppets with the socks that are looking holey or with the ones that you can’t find the matching pair to.
35. Make lists of all the museums, sporting events and concerts you want to visit when life gets back to normal. Look online to see if any of the museums are offering virtual tours which you can go on from the comfort of your living room.
36. Make birthday and other celebration cards which you can send to those you care about. If it is not possible to actually send them through the post, send them ‘virtually’!
37. Teach your dog some new tricks.
38. Memorise the periodic table. You never know when that will come in handy.
39. Bring out the Lego.
40. Make up new jokes. Test them out on family and friends when you video call them!
