Below is a list of some of the activities you might want to attempt with your families while you are social distancing. Some are aimed at adults, others are aimed at children but many are non-age specific!

21. Sort the felt pens and get rid of the ropey ones then participate in some mindfulness colouring.

22. Take time to reflect: What have you accomplished today / this week/ this month /in the last year? What goals are you setting for yourself in the next year?

23. Write a short story or get started on that novel.

24. Build dens using blankets, duvets, clothes horses and anything else you can get your hands on.

25. Finally get around to putting up some pictures, fixing that broken door handle or clean up scuffed walls.

26. Learn how to cut hair via YouTube tutorial.

27. Interview grandparents (over the phone, of course) and save the audio. Can you create an audio story or book with that file?

28. Go through your camera roll and organise your photos from the past year. Maybe you have lots of printed photographs which you haven’t had time to stick in albums, now’s the time to do it.

29. Make a list of things for which you are grateful.

30. Write a book with your family. Pick a character and get each member to write a chapter about their adventures. Read aloud to each other.
